We are thrilled to announce the completion of our second journey supporting NParks’ OneMillionTrees movement!
For every order you had made between January 2023 to December 2023, $0.53 was donated to Garden City Fund’s Plant-A-Tree (PAT) programme. All trees planted under the PAT programme will contribute to the OneMillionTrees movement.
Last year, together, we have successfully raised funds to plant a total of 50 trees 🌳, contributing to the greening of our little red dot.
But wait, there’s more! Stay tuned for our upcoming tree planting event where we will continue to make a positive impact on our environment and support Singapore’s City in Nature vision. 🌍

Our heartfelt appreciation to the United Nations Global Compact Singapore (GCNS) for hosting us at the 8th Singapore Apex Corporate Sustainability Awards 2023. Held at Orchard Hotel on November 3rd, this event celebrates excellence in Sustainable Business and Sustainable Solutions among Singapore companies.
A special highlight this year was the introduction of the by invite-only LowCarbonSG category, which acknowledges local businesses that have been making positive strides in reducing their carbon emissions. To qualify, companies must demonstrate a minimum of 5% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions over 24 months.

We are thrilled to announce that OVOL Singapore has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal, placing us among the top 5% of more than 100,000 companies from 175 countries that have been analysed by EcoVadis in terms of sustainable business practices.
EcoVadis is a globally recognised rating scorecard that rates businesses’ sustainability based on four key categories: environmental impact, labour & human rights standards, ethics and procurement practices. Carbon Accounting & GHG Management by UN Global Compact

In a world facing ecological challenges, sustainability has become an urgent and necessary concept. On 22nd June 2023, Ms. Genevieve Chua was invited as one of the speakers for Carbon Accounting & GHG Management by UN Global Compact to share our sustainability journey and what kind of tools can be used to record our carbon emission.
The Carbon and Emissions Recording Tool (CERT) by CPLC helped us by easily converting our electricity and fuel usage into emissions generated, allowing us to have a better understanding of our carbon footprint and which areas of our operations could be optimised for further emissions reduction.
CERTainly an easy way to help you start your contribution to carbon reduction!

On 10th February 2023, Our CMO Mr Tony Lim was invited as a guest speaker in one of NTU School of Art, Design and Media’s classes for a fruitful discussion on the considerations of choosing the right paper for their projects.

Heartiest congratulations to all winners of the 𝟐𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 organised by the 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 on 18 Nov 2022.
The School Green Awards (SGA) is a voluntary environmental program which serves as a platform for students to develop and showcase their environmental efforts, through customised activities which will help them gain better understanding of the environment.
Held by SEC and supported by Keppel Care Foundation, the SGA 2022 saw about 300 entries from pre-schools through to Institutes of Higher Learning, filled with projects that drove environmental action such as tree planting, recycling and urban farming. Of these submissions, 14 schools were awarded top-tier awards.
A big thank you to the Singapore Environment Council for inviting us to play a part in this meaningful event as our CEO 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐚 was honored to be part of the SGA 2022 Assessment Committee as a representative from OVOL Singapore.

OVOL Singapore Pte Ltd is proud to officially announce the full acquisition of Transam Industries Pte Ltd, a company that converts and distributes thermal transfer ribbons in Singapore.
Thermal transfer ribbons are used to print variable data on numerous applications where high durability, heat, chemical, and weather resistance properties are often required.
Demand for thermal transfer ribbons continue to grow, especially in food packaging, logistics, automotive, electronics, medical and textile applications.
This acquisition is in line with our Medium-term Business Plan 2023, which is to strengthen the sales of paper related material by diversifying into products that are complementary to our existing sales network.
